The first library I went to when I got to yale was Bass, a beautiful underground place full of books and rooms for you to study. You can choose to do a study group in a particular room with a big table or you can have your study session alone in a private and quiet room. 

I went to the bass library almost every night. Sometimes I chose to go to Sterling, but Bass always seemed cozier and better to focus on. I am already used to hearing the warning "The Bass Library is closing in 10 minutes" and to open my bag before leaving. 

I realized that studying became more productive while I was there. Going by yourself or with your colleagues makes you feel more productive because you are working in a space with other people around you where you feel inspired to keep working.
